Bailey Hats has been part of American hatmaking history since 1922, when George S. Bailey founded the Bailey Hat Company in Los Angeles, California. From the beginning, Bailey developed hats for the distinctive needs of the American West while also drawing inspiration from the growing influence of Hollywood and California fashion. That combination of Western character and refined style remains part of the brand's identity today.

Today, Bailey offers two distinctive collections: Bailey 1922 and Bailey Western. The 1922 collection brings together fedoras, flat caps, pork pies, bowlers, straw hats, Panama styles and contemporary everyday headwear. Bailey Western focuses on cowboy and Western silhouettes, including cattleman, open-crown, outback, Gus and other traditional crown shapes.
